Best for: Dull, uneven, or mildly textured skin ready for gentle chemical exfoliation

Lemon bright PHA — the gentlest acid exfoliant in K-beauty.
Neogen's Dermalogy Lemon Bright PHA Gauze Peeling uses polyhydroxy acid (PHA) — the gentlest of the chemical exfoliant family — alongside lemon extract to resurface skin gradually without sensitivity or irritation.

  • PHA (gluconolactone) exfoliates the most gently of all chemical acids — safe for sensitive skin
  • Lemon extract brightens and helps fade dark spots with continued use
  • Gauze-textured pad adds light physical exfoliation alongside the chemical action
  • 30 pads — designed for 2–3x weekly use over a month

Key Ingredients

  • Gluconolactone (PHA) — Polyhydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin surface without penetrating deeply — the safest acid for sensitive and dry skin
  • Citrus Limon (Lemon) Extract — Natural source of vitamin C that brightens skin and helps fade discoloration
  • Sodium Hyaluronate — Hydrates as the PHA gently resurfaces, preventing post-exfoliation dryness
Full Ingredients (INCI)

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Gluconolactone, Citrus Limon Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Niacinamide, Allantoin, Panthenol, Citric Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Ethyl Hexanediol

How to Use

  1. After cleansing, use the pad to gently wipe the face in upward sweeping motions
  2. Start 2–3 times per week — increase frequency as skin tolerates
  3. Follow with moisturizer — always use SPF the next morning

FKWL Tip
If you've been afraid of acids because of past sensitivity, PHA is your starting point. It resurfaces at the skin's surface only — you get the brightening and smoothing benefits of an acid without the irritation risk of AHA or BHA. Great gateway exfoliant.

Why it's in our lineup

Toners and essences restore hydration and pH balance immediately after cleansing, so the serums and actives you apply next can actually penetrate. For a hyperpigmentation routine to work, absorption matters as much as ingredient choice. We selected formulas that prime skin efficiently without fragrance or alcohol that can provoke irritation.
